FAQ: Frequently asked questions and answers

1. What do I get for my money?

A good place to sleep in a great hostel, centrally located in a beautiful city. Furthermore, inter-Hostel stands for international exchange, friendly people and lots of fun. "Low budget – full service" is our motto. In case you have questions, contact us any time!

2. How can I pay?

You should pay upon arrival (cash, EC/Maestro/credit card). If you reserve for a larger group or arrive quite late, a prepayment might be necessary- we will let you know if this is the case.

3. What time should I arrive at the latest and from what time can I access my room?

Our reception is open until 11pm, rooms are available from around 2pm. Special arrangements for late arrivals are possible.

4. How long can I stay in the room?

You should be ready to check out at 11:00am at the latest so that our staff can prepare the room for the next guest. After check-out, you can still leave your luggage with us and use all the facilities.

5. How do I find you?

We are right in the centre of Stuttgart, in the best location. Our directions can be found directly on our website.

6. How are families accommodated at your hostel?

Depending on the season, we have special family rates- please enquire via e-mail.

7. Can I park near the hostel?

Yes, we have some parking places near our hostel. The daily fee is 8 EUR. These spaces cannot be reserved though- it is first come, first park!

8. Can I get into the hostel at night?

You will receive a key for the front door, which is locked at night. Once you have checked in, you can come and go whenever you like.

9. What about internet access at the hostel?

We have W-LAN in all our rooms and the use is for free!!!! Additionally, we have internet terminals which you can use any time.

10. What does hostel mean?

It means nothing other than the advantages of a youth hostel and a hotel combined. You can book a single or double room as well as a bed in a low-priced dormitory.

11. What if I cannot make it?

Cancellation 24 hours prior to arrival is free of charge. If you do not show up or cancel too late, we charge for the first night. Special conditions apply for groups.
